Florian Arbenz

Florian Arbenz has been doing tours, concerts and CD-productions as lead with, Kirk Lightsey, Greg Osby, Glenn Ferris, Wolfgang Puschnig, Bennie Maupin, Matthieu Michel, Claudio Pontiggia and others. In classical music he has worked as percussionist in numerous concerts and festivals (Luzerner Festspiele, Basler Musik Forum, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival), among others with Heinz Holliger, Kent Nagano and Paul Sacher. Further, he staged in solo concerts in Europe and South America. In 2000 Florian Arbenz received the European Award of Culture (supporting his engagement in jazz and classical music).

Zane Rodulfo

Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Zane Rodulfo has been intrigued by the sound of music since an infant. He began studying and performing music at the early age of 4 and recently completed graduate study in Jazz Studies at New York University and holds Bachelor of Music degrees in both Jazz Performance and Ethnomusicology from the Oberlin Conservatory Of Music. Zane has opened for great musicians such as Stevie Wonder and performs at various festivals and venues where he has shared the stage with award-winning musicians such as Nicholas Payton, Brian Lynch, the legendary Barry Harris, Wes Anderson and many others. Zane currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.

Jonathan Curtis

Born:

Jonathan is a drummer from Nottingham, England, and one of the most exciting young talents to emerge onto the music scene. Involved in most things to do with the drums, Jonathan runs an educational YouTube channel, writes and record music, plays with lots of bands, and teaches the drums privately and in schools around Nottinghamshire. Jonathan began learning the piano aged 7, but switched to the drums at 11. Since then, he has studied with many teachers, including Dave Weckl, Thomas Lang, Sergio Bellotti, Stanton Moore, Massimo Russo, Paul Hose, and Grant Collins. While continuing to study and learn, Jonathan is now entering the drumming scene in his own right, primarily through the Jonathan Curtis Eclectic Band, and the JCurtisDrums YouTube channel. With his debut release gaining steady popularity, Jonathan is now working on new projects, including the second Eclectic Band album, and a drum solo educational package.

Adam Clark

Adam Clark started playing the drums at age 11 while living in Frankfurt, Germany. His father (a career Army band director) started Adam on drum lessons with members of the 3rd Armored Division Spearhead Band. His Mom (a pianist and singer with perfect pitch) taught him how to sing as a toddler and he took piano lessons as a young child. Adam went to school for jazz performance at Mesa Community College and on scholarship at Arizona State University. Adam Clark has worked with popular artists Lenny Castro, Jimmy Vivino, Casey Abrams, actor/voice artist Patrick Warburton, gospel legend Andrew Gouche and Jazz Legends such as David "Fathead" Newman, Stanley Jordan, Dennis Rowland, Marshall Hawkins, Papa John DeFrancesco and accordion master Frank Marocco

Dick Maley

Drummer/vocalist Dick “Spanky” Maley was born in Washington, DC. Dick attended Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA. At the age of 22 he moved to New Orleans where he performed in night clubs on Bourbon Street with the “New Dixie Zing Kings” Dixieland show band. 1980 saw a move to Clearwater, FL where he started honing his jazz skills under the tutelage of jazz artists such as Al Hirt, Pete Fountain, Bill Allred, Tom Saunders, Chuck Hedges, Henry Cuesta, Bob Draga, Mike Vax, Bob Havens, Johnnie Varro and Ms. Connie Haines, to name a few. “Spanky” currently resides in Lakeland, FL near Orlando where he performs for the Walt Disney Company, as well as playing in many local jazz festivals

Tom Cabrera

Tom Cabrera’s Unseen Rain recordings include Julie (UR9957) with the Julie Lyon Quintet, the trios Lion Hearted (UR9980) and Sumari (UR9962) and his duo with the quintet’s guitarist Jack DeSalvo have released several albums, among them are Tales of Coming Home(UR9986), Libra Moon (UR9978) and Juniper (UR9966). In addition to being an incomparable jazz drummer, Cabrera is an adept world percussionist, often adding to the proceedings instruments from all over the planet, particularly the middle-east. A Native of Long Island, NY, drummer and multi-percussionist Tom Cabrera began his career in local rock, folk-rock and country bands, but his love of jazz percolated and took over his music making

Janis Görlich

Janis studied Jazzdrums in Berlin (HfM "Hanns Eisler), New York City (Aaron Copland School of Music) and Sao Paulo (Conservatório de Tatuì). He currently lives, plays and composes in Berlin, Germany. His first album as a leader was released in september 2013 on Shoebillmusic. It is entitled "In der Ferne" and features a quintet with musicians from Sweden, Italy and Germany called BUMMELZUG EXPLOSION. The LP is a concept album which is released in two parts. Part Two features a Septet. It will be released in the spring of 2015. Janis' second album as a leader will be released on Vinyl in November 2014
