Misaki Nakamichi

Misaki Nakamichi is a female drummer from Osaka, Japan. She is an alumna of Berklee College of Music, where she received a full scholarship in 2013. She received numerous awards and honors. She is currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. Her authentic sound and groove are very pure, dynamic, and melodic. She started her music career on the drum set at the age of 10 and has performed in various styles, including jazz, funk/fusion, Latin, and pop/rock. Starting when she was 12 years old, Misaki studied privately with Japanese drummer Keiji Aramaki. In Japan, she led her own jazz band and performed original compositions and arrangements in countless jazz events and festivals

Jason A Mullinax

Jason Mullinax is a percussionist and electronic music composer with more than 25 years of drumming and performance experience. He has performed widely in the D.C. metro area, written soundtracks for documentaries and films, and produced/recorded original material on his own record label. He is currently the drum instructor at the Richardson School of Music and facilitates music workshops at various locations around the region. His newest record, Time Being, is available on his Bandcamp page.

José Salgueiro got some notability as a percussionist in the Portuguese Popular Music scene. He is percussionist and drummer of projects like Trovante, Resistência, Lokomotiv by Carlos Barretto and El Fad by José Peixoto. José Salgueiro having played with famous national musicians, namely Sérgio Godinho, José Mário Branco, Rui Veloso , Zeca Afonso, Pedro Burmester and Camané. He performed several times abroad, together with Gaiteiros de Lisboa, Bernardo Sassetti, Carlos Barretto, João Paulo Esteves da Silva, Paulo Ribeiro, António Pinho Vargas, Perico Sumbeat, Carlos Martins, Carlos Bica, José Peixoto, Carlos Zíngaro e de Maria João & Mário Laginha. After studying Improvisation Theory (drums and trumpet) at “Tallers de Musics” in Barcelona, he would attend some training programmes with distinguished drummers, such as Max Roach, Billy Hart, Ron Maclure, David Liebman, Richard Beiracha and Paulo Motian. He joined the Wayne Shorter’s Quintet, in a concert at Coliseu do Porto (Oporto Coliseum), included in “Porto 2001” jazz program

Kenneth Brown

Knoxville, TN based drummer, educator, composer, he wrote six of the tunes here, and band leader Kenneth Brown, son of jazz visionary pianist Donald Brown is set to release his debut CD 3 Down on Space Time Records. Born into a musical family Kenneth's household was filled with music led by his father. and later his brother Keith also a pianist. It was also during this same time period that Kenneth starting to gain exposure to all kinds of music which has always paid big dividends! By the age of four Kenneth was already playing drums and within a couple more years was studying piano "to gain a harmonic foundation in the music"

Terkel Nørgaard was born on June 18, 1983, in Copenhagen Denmark. His formal music education consists of the following: 2012 – 2014 Cand. Musicae from Rhythmic Music Conservatory, Copenhagen 2009 – 2012 Bachelor from Rhythmic Music Conservatory, Copenhagen 2006 – 2009 Bachelor from Musicology, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen. Terkel has also studied with some of the finest teachers from Denmark and from USA, including Billy Hart, Jeff Ballard, Dan Weiss, Ari Hoenig, Ed Thigpen, John Riley, Peter Retzlaff, Kresten Osgood, Martin Andersen, Morten Lund and Jonas Johansen. He has played with many groups and artists including Jørgen Leth, Ralph Alessi, Palle Mikkelborg, Søren Ulrik Thomsen, Bob Rockwell, Thomas Agergaard and Nicolaj Stochholm among others. Honing his skills in New York over the course of ten years, following his studies at Queens College, he performed with some of the top names in jazz at legendary venues such as Smalls, Iridium, Blue Note and the Gene Harris Jazz Festival. In 2022, Mitch received the coveted US Artist Green Card.

Aaron Levin

Aaron Levin is a drummer, electronic musician, and writer based out of the Bay Area. Born in Berkeley, Aaron grew up in Los Angeles, CA. As a child he studied piano, clarinet, and saxophone until he decided to quit music forever and become a drummer. After drawing initial inspiration from the great classic rock drummers, he discovered the music of John Coltrane propelled by master drummer Elvin Jones.
