Mark Holub

Drummer, composer and bandleader originally from the US and now based in Vienna, he is most notably known as the bandleader and composer for Led Bib. With Led Bib, he was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize 2009 (One of 12 albums of the year) and he was also a winner of the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award 2005. Led Bib have topped college radio charts across the US and Canada and have played live across TV and radio in Europe including BBC 2, Channel 4(UK), WDR, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, ORF(Austria), XFM, Radio 1 (Prague), BBC Radio 3, Radio 6(NL) ,BBC Radio 4 and many more. They have released 8 albums and have toured to some of the highest profile festivals in Europe including North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazzfestival Berlin, London Jazz Festival, Saalfelden Jazz Festival and many others

Born: October 30, 1965

First drum lessons in Duisburg, then studies of the Dante Agostine Drum Method at the Westfälische Schule für Musk in Münster, study of musicology. Trio, big band, ensemble, other instruments in self-study or with private teachers. Foundation of ctraltu in 2012 as a solo project with the influences of jazz in ambient and electronic, acoustic modern music.

Julian MacDonough

Born: September 23, 1976

Julian MacDonough is an award winning American jazz musician, studio drummer, and educator based in the Pacific NW. Since 1991, Julian has performed with over 200 musical acts and recorded 150+ albums to date. He is honored to have toured with such notables as Jimmy Heath, Harold Mabern, Joey DeFranscesco, Terell Stafford, Peter Bernstein, Joe Magnarelli, Gary Smulyan, Marcus Printup, Walter Banding Jr., and Dr. Lonnie Smith. A passionate educator, Julian holds over 20 years teaching experience with students of all ages in both private lessons and in leading combo classes. He has guest taught at institutions throughout the Pacific NW, as an adjunct professor at Cornish College of the Arts, Central Washington University, and Western Washington University, with the Roosevelt High School Jazz Band, the Ferndale High School Jazz Band, the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Port Townsend Jazz Festival, and as a guest artist instructor at institutions throughout western Canada and the US

Matthew Green

Born: September 2, 1994

Matthew is a musician based in Buckinghamshire, just outside of London, United Kingdom. Having studied classical piano from an early age, Matthew developed a love of jazz, fusion of jazz and also composition during his years at University studying Theology & Music. Currently he is a Primary School Teacher during the day and a busy musician during the evenings and at the weekends, covering a broad range of styles, genres and locations. Anything from jazz performance, big band, wind band, choral music, church music, solo piano, gospel band, rock band, musical theatre and everything in between will fill his week

Antoine Pierre

Born: November 15, 1992

Brussels-based drummer and composer Antoine Pierre (1992) has become a key figure on the Belgian jazz scene. Leader of the bands Urbex and Next.Ape but also a pro-active sideman, he is a part of various important bands on the international scene -a.o. with eminent guitarist Philip Catherine or with « TaxiWars », the jazz vs. rock experiment led by Tom Barman and Robin Verheyen. Back from New York in 2015 where he studied for a year after graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Pierre receives the Sabam Jazz Award Young Talent. Aaron Dolman

Born: January 26, 1995

Aaron Dolman (he/him) is a drummer, composer and bandleader born and based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal who has emerged as a distinct and imaginative voice in the city's creative music scene.

Aaron leads the unique trio, Aaron Dolman's Here to Help, in which he is joined by two vocalists: Sarah Rossy and Eugénie Jobin. The group's first album, Are You Here to Help?, was released in March of 2022 and premiered with a concert at the OFF Festival de Jazz de Montréal for which the group won the François-Marcaurelle Award. The album is a journey into the primordially evocative quality of drums and the human voice—brought into sharp focus by the group’s strikingly minimalistic instrumentation.  Aaron’s compositions and lyrics blur the line between notated and improvised music, and probe the expressive power of giving and taking Space. In his own words: “This is music about Space. The space between each note, each word, each breath. Between what was, what is, and what could be. The gentle potency of silence.
