Austin McMahon

Born: January 27, 1981

Austin McMahon is an american jazz drummer/accompanist and composer of the highest caliber. His sensitivity combined with his constant pursuit of artistry, have led him to wide recognition amongst musicians and audiences alike both stateside as well as internationally. Over the years, Austin has accompanied countless notable names in the jazz world including saxophonists: Joe Lovano, Jerry Bergonzi, David Liebman & George Garzone. He is a mainstay in Warner Brothers Jazz vocalist/recording artist Lea Delaria’s quartet and has performed with the Joe Davidian trio as an opening act for Grammy award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves and Jane Monheit

Ananda Gari

Born: January 6, 1984

Inizia molto presto lo studio della batteria con il M° Tony Russo e dall'età di dieci anni studia con il M° Antonio Di Lorenzo.
Si perfeziona frequentando numerosi seminari con musicisti di fama mondiale, tra i quali Gene Jackson, Ettore Mancini, Paul Motion, Harvie S, Enrico Pierannunzi, Franco D'Andrea, Mike Melillo e privatamente studia con Jason Marsalis e Antonio Faraò.
Nel 2006 riceve, dopo averne frequentato il corso, un diploma di merito presso la Berklee Summer School at Umbria Jazz.
Finalista nel 2009 al Concorso Nazionale Giovani Talenti del Jazz Italiano “Chicco Bettinardi” indetto dal Piacenza Jazz Fest col gruppo GiDoGa Quartet.
Ha frequentato il Corso di Musica Jazz al Conservatorio "Gioacchino Rossini" di Pesaro sotto la guida del M° Bruno Tommaso oltre a studiare Tabla e Musica Indiana a Milano con il M° Federico Sanesi.
Dal 2008 partecipa ai Laboratori Permanenti di Ricerca Musicale tenuti a Siena dal pianista Stefano Battaglia ed ai Corsi di Musica d'Insieme tenuti dal chitarrista Fabio Zeppetella a Jesi.
Di estrema importanza per il suo percorso artistico e musicale è l'incontro con due tra i più innovativi batteristi della scena internazionale: Ari Hoenig e Dan Weiss; con loro intraprende un intenso e duraturo rapporto didattico che porta avanti durante le sue esperienze newyorkesi.

E.J. Strickland

Enoch Jamal "E.J." Strickland is the world-class, world-traveled drummer, composer, educator, and artist you've heard on over 60 albums in the last 10-plus years. The Miami native grew up in a creative household, where his dad was a percussionist in the Ft. Lauderdale Orchestra; his twin brother Marcus played the saxophone.

Like so many talented artists before him, E.J. chose the New School to further his jazz education, a course of study that would introduce him to greater technical ability, but really, to the meat of any jazz program: teachers and peers.

E.J. quickly graduated into New York's gigging jazz scene, playing early on with Russell Malone and Ravi Coltrane.

Filippo Provenzale

Born: September 13, 1971

Drummer and Scientist, Filippo Provenzale has been dedicating for years to his natural approach to improvised music, on multidirectional rythms, avant-garde forms, unexplored and creatively free musical territories.

Michael Griener

Born: February 6, 1968

Michael Griener (drums) Born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1968, began playing drums in 1982, lives in Berlin since 1994. Under the influence of the HOHE-UFER-concerts initiated by Günter Christmann he became involved early on in the various forms of Jazztradition, Free Improvisation and New Music, which led to a longer collaboration with Christmann in his Vario-projects (a.o. C.I.M.-Festival Den Haag 1990, Moers-Festival 1992, Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik1993, Interplay FMP 2006). Connor Burnside

Born: March 24, 1992

Connor has been playing from the age of 11. He was taught by john wilson the drummer from taste and rory gallagher and them with van morrison. John taught connor for 5 years and now he is taking lessons from david lyttle. Connor has been sitting in and playing with some of the top players in ireland and the UK such as Linley Hamilton, Nicky scott, Mark Mcknight, Julie Folis. He has also sat in with players like Nick Morgan. Connor wants to apply for berklee university next year and keep practicing to be the best drummer/musician he can be.
