Nadav Snir-Zelniker

Born in Israel in 1974, Nadav started playing drums at the age of 16. Soon he became involved with the local Israeli music scene, playing and recording with different Rock & Jazz artists. Throughout these years Nadav has absorbed elements and flavors of the local Mediterranean-music traditions. In 1999, after receiving several honorary scholarships, Nadav was able to move to the US and got his BFA degree in music-performance from the Conservatory of Music at SUNY-Purchase College. Tom Rainey

Born: 1957

Tom Rainey (born 1957, Santa Barbara, California) is an American drummer. After attending Berklee College of Music he moved to New York in 1979. He has played with American jazz saxophonist and composer Tim Berne, and also with Fred Hersch, Tony Malaby, Tom Varner, Drew Gress, Kenny Werner, Mark Helias, and Simon Nabatov. A prolific session musician, he has appeared on close to eighty recordings over a career spanning over 25 years. He released his own first album Pool School (Clean Feed) in 2010.

Todd Strait

Todd was raised in Topeka, KS, and became involved in music in elementary school playing trumpet and drums. Eventually braces pushed the trumpet out of the picture and it's been drums ever since. Todd began gigging locally while still in 7th grade, mainly with his father's group. During his last year of high school he became involved in the 1979 "Louie Bellson/Slingerland National Drum Contest" where he eventually finished in second place at the Las Vegas finals. The scholarships gained from this experience enabled Todd to pursue his dream of moving to the NYC area and studing with Ed Soph in 1980. Upon relocating to the east coast Todd free-lanced in and around NYC and the Tri-State area, then joined Marian McPartland's trio in 1982 playing in New York City clubs and traveling occasionally with her across the country

Pippin Barnett

Born: September 5, 1953

 Born in White Plains, N.Y. and growing up in New Jersey and Japan. He currently resides in Richmond, Va.. He began his musical endeavors with trumpet at age 9 and then on to drums at 12.   He has been recorded on 40 or so LP's or CD's with bands he has either co- founded or been a sideman since 1979. Some of those bands include Idio- Savant, Curlew, Orthotonics, Nimal, Happy Lucky, Ululating Mummies, Tom Cora's Roof, Boom, Richmond Indigenous Gourd Orchestra and No Safety. He has been written about in many publications including Musician, Modern Drummer, Musiche Mag., Option, N.Y. Rodrigo Bonelli

Rodrigo Bonelli started drumming at the early age of 11, his deep interest in drumming and composition eventually took him to the Rio de Janeiro University and then Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2001. Rodrigo has since then forged a versatile and successful career as a professional drummer, percussionist and composer. He has performed internationally and locally with Grammy award nominee Heather Schmid, Nick Goumas, Juie Lavender, Scottish saxophonist Conrad wisznievski as well as many others in the Boston and New York areas. Yonatan Avi Oleiski

Yonatan Avi Oleiski is an acclaimed jazz drummer of sustained reputation in Israel. He is one of the very few Israeli jazz drummers who have risen to the top of his field, and he is highly sought after to perform with the Israel's top singers and jazz ensembles. He has also performed with the famous U.S. jazz saxophonist, Arnie Lawrence (among others, of Blood Sweat & Tears fame). D'Vonne Lewis

D’Vonne Lewis, 32, is a self-taught musician/drummer/poet with a background in gospel, funk, and rhythm and blues. Lewis is the grandson of the late-great ‘Godfather of rock and roll/soul’, the Pacific Northwest’s Hall of Famer, Hammond B-3 organ legend, Dave Lewis. Because of Dave Lewis, Seattle’s 1950’s entertainment scene started on the path to desegregation. D’Vonne graduated from Seattle’s Roosevelt High School in 2002 under the direction of Scott Brown, where he received numerous high school jazz band awards, including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Outstanding Drum Soloist winner at the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival for the years of 2000, 2001, and 2002. While still in high school, D’Vonne was first-call drummer to local and world-renowned artists, including Hadley Caliman; Buddy Catlett; Julian Priester; Floyd Standifer; Jay Thomas; Larry Fuller and Marc Seales, to name a few. Lewis has also performed with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra; pianist Marian McPartland; guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli; clarinetist Eddie Daniels; and out-sax titan Charles Gayle.
