Eli Degibri

Born: May 3, 1978

Born and raised in Israel, saxophonist Eli Degibri first began playing the mandolin at age 7 in an after school music program at the Jaffa Conservatory of Music. Three years later, after attending a jazz concert, he became enamored with the saxophone and switched his studies to that instrument. At 16, Degibri has already worked professionally with some of the major names in the Israeli music scene establishing himself as one of the leading musicians in Israel. That same year (1994) Degibri was selected to receive a full scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music’s Summer Performance Program

Greg Yasinitsky, saxophonist and composer, leader of the YAZZ Band, winner of the American Prize for Composition, has hundreds of pubiished musical works, which are performed in over forty countries world-wide, and is a recipient of grants and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, The Commission Project of New York, Meet the Composer West, ASCAP, Artist Trust, Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA) and the Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA). From Omaha, to Chicago, to Hell's Kitchen, NYC, Mike Freeman is the vibesman behind several notable groups and leader of ZonaVibe.

With spirited soulful swing rooted in Afro-Cuban clave, Freeman creates a distinct brand of mambo and salsa infused jazz. Dan McClaneghan of Allaboutjazz described him as "masterful" and ranked him among other top names of the instrument. His recordings of original music have received national and international attention with outstanding reviews, radio airplay charting on jazz, contemporary jazz, and World Music radio, and airing on nationally syndicated radio shows (Latin Perspective with Tony Vasquez, Jazz after Hours with Jim Wilke, The Jazz Show with David Sanborn, WOR radio network with Joey Reynolds, Music Choice, and United Airlines).

Broto Roy

Born: April 15, 1957

In the mid-‘80s, India-American composer and tabla percussionist Broto Roy (an EMI-India recording artist) began composing and recording a genre of music he calls “Raga-Jazz”, an amalgam of ancient Indian ragas (melodies), talas (rhythms) and western Jazz. His mastery over the complex, formalized rhythms of his native India combined with his deep appreciation and understanding of the Jazz idiom led the Washington Post to declare his music “spiritual and visceral”. He was Artist in Residence at the Kennedy Center’s inauguration of their Millennium Stage. His CD “Total Immersion” is only the second live recording sanctioned by the Kennedy Center for public release (the first was by Pavarotti)

Scott D Marshall

Toronto - based saxophonist, composer, producer, band leader, and educator Scott Marshall is highly sought after for his skills within the jazz community, and professional jobbing scenes of his city. A skilled composer and arranger, Scott’s compositions have been featured on five of his own releases: Dream Logic Project (2018) Nihahi Ridge (2014), Vignettes (2010), Nine Moments of Time (2007), and Face it (2002), as well as two releases by the group Out of Order: What Now (2000), and Out of Order (1997). Scott’s compositions have also been featured in the feature length movie The Anniversary by Canadian film maker Valarie Buhagiar, and the short film The Loss by Consistent C Films

Mitch Perrins

Mitch Perrins is a Britsh drummer and composer living in New York City. Honing his skills in New York over the course of ten years, following his studies at Queens College, he performed with some of the top names in jazz at legendary venues such as Smalls, Iridium, Blue Note and the Gene Harris Jazz Festival. In 2022, Mitch received the coveted US Artist Green Card.

Neal Kirkwood

Born: March 18, 1956

Neal Kirkwood, composer, pianist, writes music for jazz and contemporary classical ensembles. He has composed for jazz big band, classical ensembles, vocal ensembles, solo piano and full orchestra. He has received commissions from the New York State Music Fund; the New York State Council for the Arts; the Children’s Aid Society; the Jazz Composer’s Alliance and Belgian ensemble Octurn.

As a band leader, Neal Kirkwood has recorded six CDs: "Welcome To My Dream" (self-released, 2021) “Blue Inventions” (Present Eye Music, 2019); “Time’s Circle,” (Present Eye Music, 1996); “The Neal Kirkwood Octet”; “The Chromatic Persuaders”; “Extrospection” (Timescraper Records). Currently Mr. Kirkwood conducts and plays in his 17-piece ensemble, The Neal Kirkwood Big Band, in New York City.

Ernest Melton

Born: January 6, 1980

Ernest Melton was born in Goldsboro, NC. He relocated to Kansas City, MO (his mother's hometown) at age 10. He picked up the sax that same year when he was enrolled in Longfellow Academy. Bored with the classical curriculum of that institution. Ernest studied more contemporary genres of music and the guitar until the age of 14 when he joined his first jazz program through the American Jazz Museum. By then he was playing mostly tenor sax. He joined his jazz band at Lincoln High School and many other programs around Kansas City. Naturally excelling, he left school at age 16 to practice on his own
