PLS.trio - pianist Pier Luigi Salami, bassist Martin D Fowler, and drummer Shawn Crowder - lies somewhere in between Northern European jazz and American contemporary jazz, bringing forth a highly energetic and deeply melodious mixture of modern jazz and electronic elements. Tapping musical sophistication and tech savvy to lead their artistic toolkit, the group's focus on melody carries the listener along on a journey drawn from experiences of blazing through city streets and car horns of the trio’s native New York, all the way to landscapes reminiscent of sunny, mid-western countryside fields. The trio released their second album, Cosmonauts, in January 2021 on DotTime Records, after previously completing a world tour in support of their debut album “East River”, released in February 2015 and acclaimed by press and critics

Over the years, Erik developed as a serious jazz artist and set up his own artist driven stages in Amsterdam (hutspot, langereis, thuis a/d Amstel) where he regularly invites some of the finest jazz performers. His debut album people flow will be released december 2020. This record will consist of his own compositions and arrangements and will feature mainly his trio with daniel van dalen on drums, hendrik müller on bass and bart wirtz and teus nobel as guests. After graduating from the conservatories of utrecht (bachelor) and the hague (master), pianist Erik Verwey (1987) worked for many years as a composer and accompanist of various successful theater and cabaret programs

Son Of Ugly is a Brighton-based instrumental 5-piece, formed by multi-instrumentalist and composer Kyle Macleod in 2016. Born from a love of film soundtracks, B-movie sci-fi and 60's cartoons, Son Of Ugly created their own brand of music. The band's epic, theatrical style of cinematic rock, pulverizes you one moment and caresses you the next, with each song taking you on a different journey as the lead character in an ever-evolving soundscape. Kyle Macleod's synths and effects add a dynamic element to the music that can inflict punishing terror one minute and antiquated beauty the next, with a side-helping of kooky 60's lounge organs, and pervy kazoo

Jean-Michel Leblanc

Jean-Michel Leblanc is a multi-instrumentalist and composer active in in Quebec, Canada. As a sideman, he participated as an accompanist, arranger and co-composer for various artists such as "Mégane Cyr" and progressive rock band "Citizens", and is now an active member of experimental musical ensembles "The Plastic Waste Band" and "Le Jager". His work with these groups, coupled with his numerous activities as a freelance musician, led him to perform all around Quebec and Canada. ​ As a composer, he synthesizes his hard rock roots with his passion for cinematic music and his love of modern pop with his fascination of contemporary classical music

Swedish multi instrumentalist and “electronician” Per Boysen is a crossover crusader that loves music, but not genres. Enthusiastic listeners have hinted at “EAM”, “Nu-Jazz”, “Psychedelic” or “Minimal” while some refer to “Sound Art”. On stage Per plays interactive electronics driven by an acoustic/mechanic/electric instrument. The palette spans the Alto Traverse Flute, the Tenor Sax, the Fretless Guitar, the Chapman Stick, Stick Guitar or the EWI (Electric Wind Instrument). Everything interconnected as a self designed meta instrument. Per Boysen has performed many live-looping shows around Europe and the US, both as a solo performer and with ensembles

Modern jazz group SIMIO's members are young, yet tell an ever-changing story with virtuosity and maturity. The music is melodic and lyrical, sitting on the edge between improvisation and composition. With a cinematic experience, the audience sits in close during our performance; “I got carried away in a flow I didn’t want to get out of”. After the release of their debut EP Delusional, which got picked up very fast by national radio programs, producers, fellow musicians, record labels and magazines a.o in the US, their second EP A New Path shows their growth. Playing style has developed aswel as vision, which affects composition.

Johanna Pitkänen

Johanna Pitkänen is a pianist and composer from Helsinki. She has explored the musical globe from Scandinavia to Cuba and from different parts of Africa to Spain. Pitkänen writes music by commission and performs on solo piano and with duos and trios. Her oldest ongoing group is Kokko Quartet, a Finnish jazz group using world music influences in their music. The group has released two albums, their latest release is Orient Express from 2016. Pitkänen also writes music for film. In 2019 she released electronic music together with producer Satu Nieminen Pitkänen graduated from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Pop and Jazz Music

Sienná is an awake-walking daydreamer, a blurry contrast of multiple styles, an illusionist of the vivid pastel sound, a contemporary traditionalist, and a beautiful reflection of the crossover of cultures we see in the modern world. She is a songwriter, producer, keyboardist, singer and experimental music sensation. As a Japanese expatriate in Norway and live-electronic artist who has performed across Europe and Asia over 10 years, Sienná not only acts as a unique innovator; but also fearlessly brings ‘no rules’ approach to creating improvisational mixes through a command of the avant-garde EDM genre consisting of electronica, house, jazz, and traditional-contemporary Japanese. Sienná is known for collaborations with renowned artists including Nils Petter Molvaer, a psychedelic jazz trumpeter from Norway, Mick Karn, a deceased English bassist, and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, where Sienná performed as an opening act to the band in the UK on several occasions. Alex Lefaivre

Alex Lefaivre is a bassist, composer and pedagogue based in Montreal, Canada. He is a founding member of the Parc X Trio, winners of the TD Grand Prize for Jazz at the Festival de Jazz de Montréal (2010) that have produced 7 recordings. He is also a founding member of Multiple Chord Music (MCM), a jazz label which has released over fifty recordings from local artists such as Gentiane MG & Frank Lozano, Benjamin Deschamps, Rachel Therrien, Rémi- Jean LeBlanc, Joel Miller, François Jalbert & Jérôme Beaulieu. As a solo artist, he released YUL (2018). Taking its name from Montreal’s airport code, Alex takes the listener on a cinematic trip through the city, where dreamy, hazy summer vibes are intertwined with a gritty, metropolitan edge
