Domas Žeromskas

Born: August 29, 2000

The 23-year-old Lithuanian jazz pianist and composer has spent his early formative years on stage alongside prominent native jazz veterans. By the time he graduated high school, Domas was already a sought-after player, known for his technical versatility and soulful, eclectic taste.

At the age of 18 Žeromskas released his debut album “Infinite Itinerant”, showcasing original music composed and arranged during his teenage years, some tunes dating back to 2015. Along with an abundant team of Lithuanian musicians, the album featured guest performances from Braxton Cook & Gustav Karlström. In the following years he has been recording and touring internationally with artists such as Jacques Schwarz-Bart, Gregory Tardy, Naledi Masilo and Eric Williams, among others.

Ramiro Marziani

Born: December 27, 1995

Marziani is a touring and studio guitarist, composer/arranger, conductor and producer from Argentina. From an early age, every time he saw a guitar, he had a desire to play it. It wasn’t until he found a dusty guitar in his Grandma’s house that the journey began. "My dad began showing me progressive rock records from the 70s that he listened to as a child, and that introduced me to a new world of instruments and innovative music that I hadn’t heard before. The concept of Avant-Garde has been with me ever since."

For Marziani, inspiration comes from many different places. A walk to a remote part of town, sitting by the river or observing people’s faces in a crowded place.

Royal Hartigan

Royal Hartigan is a percussionist, pianist, and tap dancer who has studied and performed the musics of Asia, Africa, Europe, West Asia, and the Americas as well as African American blues, gospel, funk, hip-hop, and jazz traditions. He was awarded an A.B. in philosophy from St. Michael's College in 1968, a BA in African American Music with honors from UMass Amherst, and M.A. and PhD degrees in world music and ethnomusicology at Wesleyan University in 1983 and 1986, studying intensively with ethnomusicologist David McAllester and Bill Lowe, Bill Barron, Edward Blackwell, Freeman Kwadzo Donkor, Abraham Kobena Adzenyah, and other master artists/scholars from Java, India, and Ghana, West Africa.
