She is renowned for her immense talent, fierce creativity, and evolving musical style, and she consistently brings passion and joy to her performances.

Dave Slonaker

Dave Slonaker is a film and TV orchestrator, arranger, and composer and leader of the Dave Slonaker Big Band. His album, Intrada, featuring his compositions and arrangements, received a 2013 GRAMMY® nomination for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album. 

In his work as a film and TV orchestrator, arranger, and composer, he has orchestrated and arranged for many Hollywood composers including John Addison, David Bell, Steve Bramson, Bruce Broughton, Danny Elfman, Joel McNeely, Alan Silvestri, Larry Rosenthal, and many others. Film credits include orchestration for many popular films including Oz the Great and Powerful, Alice in Wonderland, Spider-Man, Air Force One. He has also orchestrated, arranged, and composed music for TV and animation including Jag, Murder, She Wrote, and the Tiny Toons Adventures cartoon series. 

Tobias M. Hoffmann

Tobias Hoffmann was born in Göppingen (Germany) in 1988 and discovered his passion for music and the saxophone during his high school years. 
From 2008 until 2010 he studied at the University for Music, Drama and Media in Hanover and from 2010 at the Prins Claus Conservatorium Groningen 
(The Netherlands), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in June 2013. From 2013 until 2015 he studied Jazz Saxophone at the Musik und 
Kunst Universität Wien (Austria) and graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) with distinction. At the same time he studied Jazz Composition and 
Arrangement and graduated with distinction in 2018.

Miho Hazama

Born: November 13, 1986

Grammy-nominated composer, Miho Hazama is one of the most promising and talented composers/arrangers of her generation. Lauded in Downbeat as one of “25 for the Future”, Miho developed her signature jazz chamber orchestra “munit”. Now having three full length releases on Universal Music Japan/ Sunnyside Records, Miho has written for and expertly showcased the abilities of guest artists such as Joshua Redman, Lionel Loueke, Stefon Harris, and Gil Goldstein, to name a few. Her debut album received the Jazz JAPAN rising star award, and she has been featured in such influential publications as Downbeat, The New York Times, NPR, JazzTimes among others

Stéphane Mercier

Born: June 6, 1970

Coming from a family surrounded by music and musicians, Stéphane Mercier studied different instruments early on before focusing on the saxophone and the flute, composition and arrangement. After studying at Berklee College of Music in the mid-90’s, he intensively toured with Mark Turner, Seamus Blake, B.Connection, Exile Society...then moved to Brooklyn, NY (95-02), where he played and/or recorded with a.o. Aaron Goldberg, Chris Cheek, Avishai Cohen, Randy Brecker, Jeff Ballard, Ingrid Jensen, Matt Penman,… Stéphane moved to Paris for a couple of years before Brussels, where he currently resides

Steve Patrick

Even if you’re not familiar with the name Steve Patrick, you’ve definitely heard his work. You’re familiar with his sounds if you’ve grooved to the country of Carrie Underwood, the soul of Aaron Neville, the ballads of Celine Dion or rocked along with Matchbox Twenty, Elton John, or Lynyrd Skynyrd. You’ve experienced his work if you’ve ever picked up a video game controller and moved through the worlds of Minecraft, Fortnight, Halo, and a slew of Call of Duty, Star Wars, and Madden NFL titles, among many others. One of the most prominent and recorded trumpet players in the world, Steve has played on countless film scores including for Pixar’s Toy Story 4, Jersey Boys, and Home Again, television shows such as Netflix’s Lost in Space, the CW’s Batwoman, and Outlander

Skip Dolt

Skip Dolt’s love of jazz and big band music was cultivated early in life. Growing up "down in the west Texas town of El Paso", he was selected in high school to perform with the Texas All- State Jazz Ensemble and went on to play in the Texas Christian University Jazz Ensemble for four years. In 2012, he performed with The Curt Wilson Alumni Jazz Band at The Royal College of Music in London and The American Cemetery at Omaha Beach in Normandy. In 2015, he traveled again with The Curt Wilson Alumni Jazz Band to perform at the prestigious Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy, and The Jazz a Juan Festival in Antibes, France

Dennis Mackrel

Born: April 3, 1962

Dennis was born, April 3, 1962. A child prodigy, he began playing the drums when he was two; and became a professional musician at the age of ten when he performed in the Anchorage Community Theater's production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". Developing his craft in various playing situations, Dennis received numerous awards such as "Who's Who in Music", 1979; National Endowment for the Arts grant for composition in 1983; and in 1992; "Outstanding Alumni" from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While attending UNLV, he was a member of the acclaimed UNLV Jazz Ensemble where his drumming and arranging skills caught the attention of legendary jazz vocalist Joe Williams

Described as "masterful, technical perfection" (Vittorio Lo Conte, Musiczoom), Chris Torkewitz has been recognized as being in the "super-skilled" class of musicians and hailed for his "commanding fluency" (Fritz Balwit, Audiophile Audition).

Torkewitz has performed at Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, the Kennedy Center, and for the German embassies in Toronto, DC, and New York. He has had the extraordinary honor of performing for Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela, as well as of sharing stages with jazz legends like Bob Mintzer, Michael Brecker, Joe Lovano, and Dave Liebman.
