About the Album
This is a song I wrote in early 2020 during COVID that deals with the roots of evil. I originally wrote it in response to the evils of the world, but years later I have begun interpreting it more personally, reflecting on my own temptation to do the wrong thing and the internal struggle to make the right choices. This performance showcases great band interplay behind the strikingly different solos of guitarist Nelson Dougherty and saxophonist Brian Settles.
