Ariel Bart

Ariel Bart is a harmonica player and composer born in Israel. Currently based in Berlin.

Her debut album, “In Between”, was released in May 2021 on “Ropeadope Records”. In the album, Ariel presents a unique approach to the harmonica and her composed melodies which are inspired by the European jazz tradition and the middle-eastern world.

Ariel began playing the chromatic harmonica at the age of 7 and since then it's been her primary instrument. Over the years she recorded and performed with top musicians around New York and Israel including William Parker, Andrew Cyrille, Steve Swell, Achinoam Noa Nini, MikiGavrielov, Davis D’aor, and as a solo performer with The Jerusalem Orchestra East and West.

Ariel graduated from the New School University for Jazz and Contemporary Music in NYC in May 2020

Ernst Bier

Ernst Bier studied drums with Billy Brooks, Charlie Persip, Vernell Fournier, and Elvin Jones. He lived and worked in New York City from 1982 through 1987. After his return to Germany he lived first in Cologne, and later in Berlin, where he leads a continually running series of jazz workshops. The list of musicians with whom he has worked reads like a "Who's Who" of jazz. With his dedication, his sensitive playing style, and his constructive approach, he is a highly valued drummer who is continually in demand.

Magro

With his music Berlin-based drummer and producer MAGRO creates an unusual fusion of acoustic Jazz and produced Hip-Hop/RnB. His project combines many of his musical influences such as Herbie Hancock, J Dilla and Chris Dave.

After his first album “Trippin” was released in 2021 and was awarded with the “German Jazz Prize” (for “Debut Album of the Year”), Magro released his follow- up album “II” (pronounced: Two). On the album he features, among others, the up- and-coming RnB singer Leona Berlin and the New York piano virtuoso BIGYUKI.

Over the years, Magro has collaborated with numerous artists as a drummer and producer- including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Wayne Snow, The Rolling Stones Project and J Lamotta. In addition, he has been a producer on many of Leona Berlin’s albums and singles – including “Wrong Lane (featuring Snoop Dogg)“.

Nina Ernst

Nina Ernst is a singer and actress, based in Berlin, Germany. She grew up near Hamburg, where she completed her education at the „Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg“. She then moved to Berlin, where she discovered her love for jazz singing. In addition to her classical singing training, she took lessons with jazz legend Sheila Jordan, among others.

In 2006 she interpreted German folk songs in Brazilian music style on the album “Degas/Weiser - Heimat, von fern so nah” (Label: Piranha Musik), with which she subsequently toured South America.

2009 she recorded the Bossa Nova - CD “Nina Ernst canta Jobim” in Rio de Janeiro (Label: Fina Flor), which has received many good reviews in Brazil and was even praised by Bossa Nova legend Leny Andrade (quote: “One of the best Bossa Nova CDs I have heard”).
