Chyco Siméon

Of Caribbean origin, Chyco Simeon spent his childhood in Montrouge, in the southern suburbs of Paris. His music-loving father passed on to him, instilled in him his passion for music, jazz, salsa, classical and, of course, the music of his original land, the Caribbean. Listening to these varied sounds, little Chyco opens up multiple melodic spaces that will no doubt influence his career, his tastes and his creations. Justin is a bassist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer from Seattle.

He started playing music at age 17, drawn to the electric bass and hard rock music. Within 6 months he was on stage playing his concert and recording an EP of original music with his first band.

In college, he expanded his musical focus by delving deep into jazz. He played with small combos and big bands, along with maintaining rock bands and dabbling in various genres. He has explored study on double bass, guitar, and piano.

After school he spent much of a decade working for professional audio manufacturer Mackie (also known for Ampeg and Crate) and refining his focus on engineering.

He is primarily active as a jazz musician, but has also performed and recorded with a wide variety of pop and rock artists. Janno has written music for both smaller jazz ensembles and big bands. He has been the artistic director of several major music projects and is the leader of the groups JT Conception and Janno Trump Clarity Ensemble. Born into a family of musicians, Janno has been involved in music and playing instruments for as long as he can remember. He graduated from the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and has later complemented his studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory

Kevin Ellis-Lane

Born: February 11, 1961

Kevin was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, New York. Earlier in his career he played primarily throughout the tri-state area, playing most gigs locally at venues in the five boroughs of NYC. He has since gone on to play with such names as Isaac Hayes, Tito Puente, Peabo Bryson, Keith Richards, Miki Howard and Melba Moore, to name a few. Kevin began playing electric bass at age 10, and began upright bass at age 17. He studied music at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College, while continuing to play local gigs, and for the occasional tours. He started his own band "Alternate Route" back in 1988, and has been a working musician and band leader ever since. His music is primarily contemporary and progressive, modern jazz.
