Robert Black's interests range from traditional orchestral and chamber music to solo recitals of cutting edge music, collaborations with actors, music with computers, movement-based improvisations with dancers, and live action-painting performances with artists. He has commissioned, collaborated, or performed with musicians from John Cage to D.J. Spooky, Elliott Carter to Meredith Monk, Cecil Taylor to Paquito d’Rivera, as well as many young emerging composers. Nick Bresco was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in a family of artists. Bathed in music from a young age, he Begins the violin at the School of Music of Dubrovnik at the age of five He decides to turn to the double bass to follow his father's footsteps and his taste for Jazz Pop and Funk influences. After a adolescence shared between the studies and the scene of the family Jazz Cafe, he graduated from the Academy of Music of LOVRAN in Croatia. In 2009 after several years in a group, during a long stay in New York, Nick discovered an interest in singing and self-taught he began a solo career as a singer- bassist and he created the brand Nick Bresco. He launches as well in the great Jazz standards as in the mythical titles of Pop that he performs in double bass-voice. Since 2013, the chance of dating has made him share his life between Dubrovnik and Paris where he has the opportunity to do some great scenes (New-morning, Sunset-Sunside, Gibus ...) and indulge in his second passion photography ...

Born in Milan, moves to Brussels to study at the Royal Conservatory, where he meets many musicians from different countries. After his Bachelor degree he moves to Zhuhai (China) for one year as a performer and teacher for Golden Jazz management, having the opportunity to perform with several musicians from the Chinese scene. He performs as a sideman in very different contexts from traditional to more modern and experimental jazz, but also Flamenco and “Chanson Française” in events like Brugge Jazz Festival, Beishan Jazz Festival, Marni Jazz Festival, etc. Between his most recent collaborations the new project from Stéphane Galland “(The mystery of) Kem” his own project “The AwkWords (with Hendrik Lasure on piano and Paul Berne on drums), both due to album release at the beginning of 2018. In August 2017 his band “The AwkWords” was awarded with the First Prize in the Mechelen JazzContest for the best upcoming jazz group.

Giuseppe Millaci

Giuseppe Millaci is a bassist, composer and producer. He was born in Sicily on 9 April 1988 and he is living in Belgium since the year 2000.

​He started to play the electric bass when he was 14 years old. Few years later Millaci discovered jazz and the acoustic bass. He listened to several jazz bassists such as {{m: Ray Brown, {{Dave Holland = 5370}}, {{m: Marc Johnson = 8118}}, {{m: John Patitucci = 10152}} and {{m: Larry Grenadier = 29433}}.

In 2011, he participated in the Erasmus Programme scholarship and studied at the Maastricht Academy of Music with the tutor and bassist Philippe Aerts.
Millaci graduated with honors in 2013 (Masters degree) at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under guidance of maestro Jean-Louis Rassinfosse. He continued his training with bassist {{m: Marco Panascia = 27181}} and {{m: Drew Gress = 7228}}.
