Arne Torvik
Pianist Arne Torvik from Molde has long been an important piece in the music scene in northwestern Norway, but he is also a name that makes his presence on the international stage. In the spring of 2021, his band Arne Torvik Trio released their debut album Northwestern Songs on Losen Records, and in 2024 the sequel Songs for Roman. Both releases have received good reviews from international and Norwegian reviewers. The music has also spread well in the digital world via curated jazz charts, giving the trio over 4 million plays of the song "Compromises".
