Jake Reichbart

Jake Reichbart is a solo instrumental guitarist whose repertoire draws from all forms of popular music, starting with 20's-60's jazz and bebop standards, 60's-90's pop and rock classics, up to current day hits. He delights audiences by improvising countless tune requests on the spot. Depending on the situation, Mr. Reichbart is able to keep the performance strictly to music or offer, in between tunes, detailed information about the music, its history, the instrument and playing techniques, as well as humorous anecdotes and stories from his travels. To get a sense of his vast repertoire, one can sample over 1,000 solo guitar performances on his YouTube channel where he has some 52,000+ subscribers, worldwide. As of October 2025, Mr. Reichbart has achieved a remarkable feat, reaching the 33rd anniversary of performing weekly, Tuesday through Thursday, at the famed The Earle restaurant in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Ellen Rowe

Ellen Rowe, jazz pianist and composer, is currently Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation at the University of Michigan. She is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Rayburn Wright and Bill Dobbins. Prior to her appointment in Michigan, she served as Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Connecticut. Winner of the Hartford, CT Advocate Readers’ Poll for Best Acoustic Jazz, Ms. Rowe has performed at jazz clubs and on concert series throughout the U.S., as well as touring in Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Ireland, Poland, South Africa and Australia

Muruga Booker, also known as Steve Booker, Maruga, and Muruga is an American born, drummer and artist of Serbian decent. Muruga and his wife Shakti, son Aaron, and daughter Rani have lived a drummer's journey. He was born Steven Bookvich in Detroit, Michigan on December 27th, 1942. His father Melvin Bookvich was a shoe maker who played accordion. Muruga first played the accordion before taking up drums as a pre-teen. Muruga studied drums under a Russian music teacher Misha Bischoff. Muruga first professionally played drums with "The Low Rocks" in Detroit as Steve Booker.
