Featuring the music of Amos Hoffman
Duration: 07:40

Amos Hoffman played during the Jazzmix Festival in Tel Aviv with his quartet at Haezor, the craziest jazz club in Tel Aviv. Considered by many of his peers as the Israeli Django, the oud and guitarist Amos Hoffman, regular member of the group Avishai Cohen, delivers an exceptional concert with Gilad Abro on bass, Aviv Cohen on drums and Ilan Salem on flute. Filmed by the Paramax Films team for Mezzo TV, this concert remains in the annals of the orientaloswing jazz.

Home Away From Home: Avishai Cohen in Paris

Read "Home Away From Home: Avishai Cohen in Paris" reviewed by David Miller

Avishai CohenAlhambraParis, FranceNovember 26, 2009 Hypnotic. Mesmerizing. Religious. These three adjectives come to mind when reflecting on Avishai Cohen's concert at Alhambra in Paris, the last of a three-night engagement at the intimate venue close to Place de la République. A sorrowful piano/percussion duo--Shai Maestro's weeping piano accompanied ...
