On today's show, it's the usual eclectic mix of global fusion, jazz, and a few old favourites to wrap things up. We start with German guitarist and synth player Roland Heinz, joined by New York's Adam Holzman, then head to Argentina with jazz fusion band Commodore and to Brazil with Mr. Motaba and their Brazilian-tinged fusion new release. From Germany, drummer Anika Nilles brings her latest track—she's previously toured with the late Jeff Beck and has an Australian tour coming up. Next, cinematic fusion from Lyle Workman and Melbourne's The Outernet deliver their signature jazz rock with Phil Turcio. Todd Sucherman and Antoine Fafard bring ,some prog power, followed by Aussie trio The Omnific with guest bassist Charles Berthoud. We hear music from Bob Frye, featuring Ric Fierabracci, then head back to Argentina for the funky bass of Gera D'Abundo. Guitarist Mike Pope and Geoffrey Keezer. We rewind to 2014 with saxophonist David Binney, then dive into Rhodes grooves from Alan Pasqua with Jimmy Haslip, and the Fabulous Austrian trio led by guitarist Alex Machacek. To close, Indian drummer Ranjit Barot stuns with his fusion of East and West, and we finish with Germany's Metrik System, featuring Richard Hallebeek. ???? Stay tuned—it's a world of music coming your way.
