Bob has just completed a new recording project “Uzoma,” with three world-class musicians: Ric Fierabracci – bass (Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Dave Weckl), Mike Miller – guitar (Chick Corea, Bette Midler, Gino Vanelli, Elvin Bishop) and Shane Gaalaas – drums (Cosmosquad, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, B’z). The CD features new compositions and incredible performances by this stellar group of players. As founder of the San Diego jazz-fusion group "Purl," Bob has performed his original compositions as the opening act for artists including: Jeff Lorber, Lee Ritenour, Airto & Floria Purim, Larry Carlton, Stephane Grappelli, Jaco Pastorious, and Seawind. At UCSD, Bob studied jazz improvisation with the great jazz trombonist Jimmy Cheatham
