I tre musicisti ci mettono gusto, impegno e passione, facendo trasparire tutto il piacere del suonare insieme con un interplay preciso e senza sbavature, lasciandosi andare negli assoli a tutta la fantasia e creatività di cui sono capaci, dando freschezza a standard straconosciuti come "Moon River," "I'm Through with Love" e "Strike Up the Band," o meno noti come "Flamingo" e "Put On a Happy Face." L'atteggiamento sciolto non cambia anche nei brani originali, firmati da Gibellini o Tavolazzi, l'ultimo dei quali vede l'intervento del cantante Alan Farrington.
Un disco sicuramente godibile e ben suonato, anche se confinato a un mainstream senza troppi spunti innovativi.
