Antonella Montrasio & Max De Aloe Quartet: Pingo Pingando

E' su iniziativa della cantante Antonella Montrasio che si realizza questo piacevole spaccato musicale sul compositore brasiliano Tom Jobim.

Il progetto prende corpo attraverso la sinergia delle esecuzioni; la voce della Montrasio è sempre calda e armoniosa e supportata costantemente dai partners che si svincolano solo durante le loro parti estemporanee eseguite puntualmente con equilibrio.

Meticolosa la scelta del repertorio in cui troviamo anche quattro brani strumentali ed una particolare affezione per gli arrangiamenti originali.

In "Tereza da Praia," dopo il tema esposto dalla Montrasio, troviamo gli assoli; Olzer e De Aloe, a turno, saranno protagonisti del loro estro musicale. Sarà poi la cantante saronnese a chiudere il brano con la riesposizione del tema.

Maggiore impatto emotivo lo troviamo in "Falando de Amor" dove è l'armonica ad aprire e chiudere il brano ma a catturare veramente l'attenzione è l'estrema naturalezza con cui vengono eseguiti il tema e le improvvisazioni.

Chiude nel modo migliore la scaletta il brano "Passarim"  raccontato in solitudine da Roberto Olzer, in una manciata di secondi la sua esecuzione lenta ed espressiva risulta essere molto convincente.

Pur sviluppandosi in un contesto jazzistico Pingo Pingando rievoca un appassionante trascorso della musica popolare brasiliana e su quanto il suo carisma susciti ancora notevole influenza nei musicisti contemporanei.
