Bodyhammer: Origins of Bodyhammer
Ecco allora Bodyhammer, trio proteiforme composto da una batteria e due computer. Cusa, Natoli e Cinquerui ci conducono nei meandri di una musica assai poco meccanica a dispetto delle macchine utilizzate, nella quale l'elettronica palpita come il cuore impazzito di un organismo vivente e diventa una componente rivitalizzante del processo osmotico instaurato con le pelli e i metalli percossi da Cusa. Paesaggi sonori che si frammentano e si ricompongono, fasci di luce che illuminano sinistramente sequenze ipnotiche e ossessive, grovigli nervosi che irradiano impulsi frenetici, momenti di quiete instabile, microchips lamentosi come voci umane.
I trentadue minuti di Origins of Bodyhammer danno vita ad un riuscito rendez vous uomo-macchina, nel quale i sentimenti umani sembrano uscire rafforzati da questo interagire e dove i nervi scoperti che ci accompagnano per l'intera incisione sembrano abbeverarsi, al termine del percorso, alla fonte di una paradossale dolcezza.
