At the time of this recording I was probably 15 or 16I was just getting into music when I heard "(I'm A) Roadrunner." This track by Junior Walker on Motown Chartbusters Vol. 3 just turned me aroundI just couldn't get enough of it and must have played it 100 times.
Q: And does that make you think about the bass?
Not really, I didn't even know what it wasI just loved the feel of it. You know, the way that everything's workingdrums, bass, guitars, the saxof course Junior Walker. I couldn't really break down what it was that I loved, but I just loved it.
