Mogase spazia tra free-jazz, mainstream, blues e funk in perfetta sintonia con le coordinate stilistiche dell'omonimo trio sardo.

Ad aprire il disco ci pensa il blues di "Guglielmo" in cui la chitarra di Flavio Secchi e la batteria di Alessandro Garau danno al brano quel tocco di swing in più, mentre in "Ancora Pioggia" la ritmica tribale rende suggestivo il brano. Atmosfere intimiste in "Lazy Afternoon" grazie anche ai brillanti assoli di Morelli e Secchi. Il brano in chiusura "Topis" sfoggia invece un arrangiamento vagamente bossanova per l'impeccabile chitarrismo di Secchi e le note avvolgenti del sax di Morelli in apertura.

I Mogase sanno rendere la loro musica convincente, grazie alle varie influenze e all'atmosfera live e in presa diretta che riescono a creare in studio. L'acquisto del disco è consigliato agli amanti della musica di qualità e a chi vuole scoprire questo talentuoso gruppo italiano.
