Enten Eller: Minótauros
Ovviamente tutto questo intersecarsi di "corrispondenze" non può esserci restituito dall'odierno CD, che va quindi valutato e raccontato per quanto ci offre sotto il profilo squisitamente sonoro, quindi musicale. Sopravvive peraltro una trama, specifica, che vede ciascuno strumento (nell'ordine chitarra, percussioni, tromba e contrabbasso) prodursi dapprima in un monologo (i quattro interludi), per poi esser raggiunto dagli altri tre in un pezzo compiuto (nel senso di predefinito, almeno nelle geometrie essenziali, laddove i quattro monologhi sono palesemente altrettante improvvisazioni cotte e servite sul momento).
Il lavoro globale si fonda parecchiocom'è ovvio e fisiologico che siasulla lunghissima consuetudine dei quattro musicisti a suonare assieme. Prevale una solidità strutturale che di rado si rompeproprio come equilibrioin favore di questo o quel singolo elemento, ciò fino all'epilogo per più versi liberatorio (anche per la bellezza, e cantabilità, di una linea melodica del resto prevedibilmente familiare a molti degli astanti) di "Per Emanuela," tema storico di Barbiero che si perpetua periodicamente nell'agire sia di Enten Eller che di Odwalla.
Il ritorno a casa dopo una nuova partenza. Che non sarà del resto l'ultima.
