About the Album
Saxophonist @irabajon comes full circle with Someone to Someone, a bold new album with his new Chicago-based quartet PlainsPeak. The kaleidoscopic saxophonist revisits his past in a tale of two cities—New York, where he rose to prominence, and Chicago, where he grew up and currently resides. Fresh on the heels of his nonet album Server Farm, Irabagon unveils PlainsPeak, an acoustic quartet with three exceptionally versatile Midwest musicians—trumpeter Russ Johnson, bassist Clarke Sommers, and drummer Dana Hall.
