About the Album

Vibraphonist/marimbist/composer Patricia Brennan’s has refined her sound yet again on her third album. The recording features Brennan, bassist Kim Cass, drummer Marcus Gilmore and percussionist Mauricio Herrera plus an trio of horns – Jon Irabagon on alto and sopranino saxes, Mark Shim on tenor, and Adam O’Farrill on trumpet and electronics. The recording showcases Brennan’s unique talent as both a player and a composer who can bring together jazz, Latin traditions, and funk and horn rock.
