Matt Darriau - Ismail Lumanovski - Patrick Novara: Liquid Clarinets
Matt Darriau, già membro dei Klezmatics e leader del Paradox Trio e dei Ballin' the Jack, il macedone Ismail Lumanovski, e il franco-italiano Patrick Novara, attivo con Moni Ovadia, mettono in campo tutta la loro sapienza strumentale, i loro differenti background artistici e umani, l'originalità delle voci dei loro clarinetti per accompagnare l'ascoltatore in un viaggio affascinante attraverso i territori del Mediterraneo Orientale, del Sud Italia, della Grecia, dei Balcani fino all'Asia Minore.
L'esuberanza tipica della musica nomade si alterna con una sorta di misticismo popolare, tempi dispari fanno il paio con tarantelle in un continuo gioco di intreccio fra tradizioni che non concede nulla al facile applauso.
