L'arpista francese Hélène Breschand, qui al suo secondo album in solitaria, fa invece tutto il possibile per smontare ogni possibile cliché sullo strumento. Ogni possibile pregiudizio dell'ascoltatore.
Sonorità elettroacustiche, rauche, corde percusse con l'archetto, live sampling, ci restituiscono uno strumento dalla timbrica inattesa. Uno strumento sul quale appoggiare una ricerca musicale rigorosa, vigile, aperta ad ogni influenza. Una ricerca fatta di carne e di sangue, parafrasando il titolo dell'ultimo brano, ma anche, indubitabilmente, estremamente cerebrale.
In copertina, c'è la foto di una chiesa in rovina, al cui interno c'è la carcassa di un'auto semi-distrutta. Personalmente, ci avrei visto bene anche l'immagine di un'arpa sventrata.
