Tango negro Trio: La Vuelta del Malon
Il Nuovo Tango Trio, accanto a Caceres, vede la presenza di un altro storico rappresentante della musica argentina, il bassista e percussionista Carlos “el tero” Buschini, e del batterista Marcelo Russilo, oltre che - in numerose tracce - del sassofonista Javier Girotto e del fisarmonicista David Pecetto.
Il gruppo appare perfettamente affiatato (ottimi i fiati “acidi” di Girotto in un contesto così appassionatamente impulsivo) e mette in scena una musica che al primo ascolto può forse apparire a grana grossa, ma che rivela in seguito il sostrato culturale ed emotivo che la fonda e le conferisce senso. Questo, grazie non solo alla voce di Caceres, aspra ma avvolgente ed espressiva, ma in generale per la qualità di tutti i protagonisti e per la struttura generale: quella di un tango non ingessato sulle sue forme, ma aprente spazi di libertà espressiva. E che, rispetto a molta produzione tanguera, non si autolimita alla malinconia e alla fascinosità, ma sposa anche aggressività e festosità, ironia e rabbia.
