Alternando gli episodi solo strumentali con quelli in cui Mieko si produce anche alla voce, i due confezionano un album di notevolissimo impatto, fascino e rigore, prezioso nel suo svolgersi come nel suo stesso esistere. Vi si alternano momenti più vivaci, rigogliosi, e altri più pacati, meditativi (per esempio fra il terzo e ultimo movimento della suite "Ichikotsu" e l'immediatamente successivo "Kurohami"), non disdegnando derive vagamente popeggianti ("Kisha gokko").
Un disco che dovrebbe essere ascoltato (e incontrarne il gusto) anche da parte dei non-cultori dell'universo etnico e sue (non di rado posticce) appendici.
