Guo Gan Trio: Jasmine Flower

Tutto il fascino, le soffici malie seduttive della musica cinese traspirano da questo bel lavoro in trio di Guo Gan, specialista dell'ehru, strumento ad arco a due corde, ormai parigino d'adozione (e il flautista, Lai Long Hon, arriva dalla Cambogia). Uno degli elementi più tipici di quest'arte antica e finissima è certo il tono quieto, lieve, pacificatore, caratteri che Jasmine Flower elargisce a piene mani, sempre impeccabile sotto il profilo sia formale che architettonico.

Naturalmente le atmosfere toccate tendono a riprodursi brano dopo brano, ma questo fa in fondo parte del gioco. Il che del resto non vieta che ci siano momenti più contemplativi e altri più luminosi, qua e là anche ritmicamente vivaci, morbidamente danzanti (accade per esempio in "Xi Yang Yang"). Colpiscono in particolare l'iniziale "Su Ti Man Bu," che si ravviva strada facendo, le trasparenze di "Gu Su Xing" e "Cai Yun Zhuei Yue," e il trittico finale, che ruota attorno al solitario (Guo Gan) "Sai Ma," prima più (e)statico e poi più aperto, a tratti quasi gioioso, con passaggi finali persino sperimentali.

Un disco da gustare con pazienza, cercando di adattare il proprio orecchio a quanto di diverso sa offrirci rispetto a certe nostre fin troppo rassicuranti abitudini.
