While we're not at all eager to dwell on the subject, we've found it necessary to communicate the following policy on intellectual property:

Material published on All About Jazz belongs to All About Jazz and the contributing author and/or photographer.

Online publication at All About Jazz is to be exclusive beyond an author's personal blog. Authors are not permitted to cross-post their material to other websites.

Authors wishing to submit All About Jazz material to a print publication can do so, provided the article retains an All About Jazz copyright notice and is licensed according our licensing policy.

Licensing fees arising from any material syndicated by All About Jazz will be split equally between the website and the author.

All About Jazz is free to grant permission to entities wishing to excerpt our content or reprint our articles in their entirety, provided that we receive the following credit: This article was originally published on All About Jazz and reprinted with permission.
