Selecting your midyear favorite albums

Major League Baseball's All-Star break marks their midseason. At All About Jazz, we mark our own "midseason" by compiling a list of the staff's favorite album releases through the first half of the calendar year. With "Best Albums of [Year]: All-Star Break Edition," we'll include your favorite three albums (so far) in a single article published under the AAJ Staff byline.

Limit your picks to three. I'll compile the article and AAJ will notify you when it is published.

How to send me your picks

Album reviewer?

Sign in, then click the "Year End Picks" link on your member page, then click the camera icon under an album you want to recommend (screenshot below). This will pop-up code you can copy & paste into an email that you'll send me.

Radio & Podcast Host or Infrequent Album Reviewer?

If you want to recommend an album you did not review on All About Jazz, sign in, then search for it under the "Albums" tab. Same drill: click the camera icon under the album to pop-up the code then copy & paste.

If the album is not listed in our database, upload it here then consider reviewing it.
