Nel 2009 reinterpretarono alla loro maniera In a Silent Way, il capolavoro elettrico di Miles Davis. A distanza di tre anni si ripresentano con Imagine, riferimento ad un altro capolavoro, questa volta firmato John Lennon. Ma non si tratta dell'ennesimo tentativo di dare nuova veste alla canzone simbolo di una generazione, né di un tuffo nel repertorio della penna principale dei Fab Four. Imagine è semplicemente il pretesto per esplorare territori e scenari sonori che quel testo e quella musica evocano ai quattro musicisti impegnati nell'ambizioso progetto.

Sono assenti sia basso che batteria nella formazione allestita da Maurizio Martuscello, in arte MARTUX_m, ma groove e pulsazioni non mancano. Grazie alle diavolerie elettroniche del leader, abile sia in fase di tessitura timbrica che di propulsione ritmica e grazie alla chitarra di Eivind Aarset maestro nel creare macchie di colore ora acide ora sfumate come un tramonto nordico. La componente melodica, declinata nelle varie forme rese possibili dalla sensibilità e dall'estro dei musicisti, è incarnata al meglio dalla tromba di Fabrizio Bosso e dal sax di Francesco Bearzatti.
