Elliott Sharp - Reinhold Friedl: Feuchtify
Feuchtify contiene tredici tracce registrate al Tonic di New York (e poi mixate in uno studio di Berlino Est) in cui l’approccio improvvisativo, vero nocciolo della lirica poetica del chitarrista americano, è ampiamente condiviso da Friedl. I due raramente giocano sul contrasto, cercando più spesso di muoversi su un particolarissimo e forse un po’ sincopato piano di dialogo. Sharp si muove a tutto tondo utilizzando chitarra acustica, chitarra basso con 8 corde, sassofono soprano, un dobro e strumentazione elettronica, laddove Friedl rimane ancorato al proprio piano (anche preparato).
La sostanza per Sharp anche questa volta c’è. Sempre scricchiolante e scrosciante, ma c’è eccome!
