03. Giovanna Marini - Cantata del secolo breve (NOTA - 2002). Perchè "i treni di Reggio Calabria" sono stati la mia adolescenza e sono la mia maturità (!?)
04. Renato Carosone - Whisky & soda & rock'nroll (EMI LP 196...?). Perchè anche Napoli è imprescindibile e qui c'è quella vera.
05. Roberto Goyeneche - Los inolvidables (RCA) - Perchè Buenos Aires è parte di me e "el polaco" è semplicemente "il" tango.
06. AA.VV. - The music of Okinawa (KICH-1991). Perchè c'è più swing qui che in tutti i "Blue Note" del mondo.
07. Mustafa Kandirali & Ensemble - Caz roman (WDR world network -1992). Perchè se un po' di clarinettisti che so io ascoltassero questo turco la smetterebbero di soffiare a vanvera.
08. The Clash - The singles (Columbia Anthology) - Perchè l'energia non ce la si ritrova il mattino sotto il letto
09. Ennio Morricone - Le colonne sonore originali dei film di Sergio Leone (BMG- 1989). Perchè sì.
10. London Jazz Composers' Orchestra - Harmos (Intakt - 1989), ma anche Willem Breuker Kollektief... Qui ce ne vanno per forza due, il primo perchè questo è il jazz, il secondo perchè questo è jazz.
