Maribel Fracchia - Chrissie Oppedisano - Serafina Caspari - Debora Lombardo: Donne in jazz
Nelle note di copertina il chitarrista scrive: "Fare un altro CD non ha molto senso, viviamo perennemente sommersi da questo rumore di fondo che ci ostiniamo ancora a chiamare musica". In una dimensione cosí raccolta, lui e le cantanti riescono a comunicare emozioni, a rendere vitale la musica, a dare un senso a quello che fanno, a distinguersi dai rumori che la radio trasmette in continuazione. Sta alla sensibilità degli ascoltatori fare le dovute differenze.
Le cantanti chiamate a interpretare delle songs molto note, comprese quelle più famose di Jobim, lo fanno nel migliore dei modi: hanno interiorizzato i testi e affrontano con espressione testi che raccontano amori, incontri, scontri, pianti o indifferenze, come la bella ragazza di Ipanema che va a fare il bagno guardando diritto. Sono le tante sfacceture di quella cosa chiamata amore, tanto per citare il titolo di una famosa canzone di Cole Porter che qui non ha trovato posto.
Una bella inziativa, quella del club di Tortona, ben riuscita da tutti i punti di vista, anche quella della registrazione tecnica, che ci permette di scoprire dei musicisti di tutto rispetto.
