Introduzione necessaria per entrare nell'ottica di un lavoro maiuscolo, stratificato nella sua tessitura e suonato in maniera intensa e impeccabile. Undici brani, dei quali otto originali di Romaneck, divisi in due sessioni. La prima - composta da sei brani, compreso lo splendido standard "Nancy with the Laughing Face" tanto amato da Brendan - vede protagonista un Chris Potter melodioso, preciso, capace di generare delle belle reazioni emozionali, sia nelle ballad ("Full Moon") che nelle andature più sostenute ("My Shining Hour").
La seconda parte presenta uguale intensità emotiva e una maggiore espressività corale. Di ottima fattura gli intrecci innescati da Steve Wilson e Terell Stafford; molto presente il pianismo di Keith Javors, vero filo conduttore dell'intero lavoro; leggermente più in rilievo anche l'apporto ritmico di Felix e Davis.
Un album pieno di significati, tenuto insieme dalla voglia di omaggiare un talento che, per un destino crudele, non ha avuto l'opportunità di mostrare a tutti di cosa fosse capace.
