In occasione dello Speciale dedicato alla Guitar Collection avevamo già detto quanto sia difficile porsi l’obiettivo di divulgare, o quantomeno di proporre in termini divulgativi, un repertorio di musica contemporanea per chitarra. Il sedicesimo volume della Guitar Collection conferma pienamente entusiasmi e problematicità allora evidenziate.

Ceci n’est pas une guitare può essere difficile all’ascolto, perché nel repertorio contemporaneo non si fa sconto alcuno in tal senso, ma al tempo stesso risulta terribilmente leggero, perché chi lo esegue ha un baglio di esperienze e di ascolti tanto e a tal punto variegato che la contemporaneità non è (fortunatamente) un valore aggiunto, ma un dato di fatto.

Gli otto compositori scelti i cui brani vengono proposti (Krieger, Kurtag, Reich, Hosokawa, Aperghis, Dufourt, Takemitsu, Beglarian) coprono un arco di tempo che non arriva ai trent’anni. Già questo è per la musica contemporanea un grande evento! La “duttilità” della chitarra - per dirla con le parole dello stesso Emanuele Forni [clicca qui per leggerne l'intervista] - conferisce a tutti un punto di vista obliquo, poco sghembo, assolutamente policromo delle possibilità, da una parte, d’utilizzo e, dall’altra, di interpretazione. Il risultato non finisce mai di sorprendere...
