Given the checkered history behind Neil Young's Tonight's The Night (Reprise, 1975), the 50th Anniversary Deluxe might well have been issued as a multi-disc package. In its own peculiar way, World Record is as confounding as the previous two albums by Neil Young with Crazy Horse.
