Jan Bang is a musician, composer and record producer who was born in August 1968, in Denver, Colorado, but grew up in Kristiansand, Norway. Arve Henriksen is a trumpeter, vocalist and composer who was born in March 1968, in Stranda, Norway. Belgian duo Linus—Ruben Machtelinckx, guitar and banjo; Thomas Jillings, saxophone and clarinet—have been recording with additional musicians for several years. This grouping is the largest they have gathered together and revisits the one from the album Mono No Aware (Aspen Edities, 2017).
