Il duo DST, nato dall'incontro di Alberto Collodel e Simone Di Benedetto, si era già messo in luce nel 2017, pubblicando Il Sistema Periodico, lavoro ispirato all'opera di Primo Levi, che scavava con atteggiamento riflessivo ed esplorativo nella suggestione della scienza chimica e nella narrazione del grande autore, tra ragione e memoria. Arriva ora al secondo lavoro discografico, Kinetic, sempre con la stessa etichetta Aut Records, e si allarga a trio ospitando il contributo di Gabriele Mitelli.
