Album Description

It's been nearly 15 years since Monday Michiru recorded a fully acoustic album, described as her passion project. Featuring 3 Gil Goldstein produced tracks, including an original penned by Goldstein himself, Miho Hazama string arrangements on two of the tracks, Lucas Arruda who composed, produced and played all the instruments on a track, and the rest produced by Monday herself. Guest artists include Asuka hailing from Tokyo, Japan on koto on the Japanese folk song "Ringo Oiwake" which also features Lew Tabackin in a flurry of flute soloing, Philly poetess Ursula Rucker on the single from ENSO, "Untethered: which also features Steve Wilson on soprano sax, and a host of NY's jazz and soul elite including David Kikoski, Misha Tsiganov, Fima Ephron, Gene Lake, Keita Ogawa, Freddie Bryant, and others.
