Duo padre - figlia, titolo melenso, copertina bucolica che non lascia presagire niente di buono... Tuttavia, essendo l'album pubblicato per la Leo Records, solitamente garanzia di musica intrigante, abbiamo deciso di lasciare da parte questi brutti presentimenti e ci siamo messi all'ascolto. Ci si è così aperto un mondo sonoro fatto di musiche tradizionali gregoriane e bizantine, interpretate basandosi sulle strutture fonetiche della lingua russa. Una sorta di viaggio nella natura, ovviamente forte e sterminata come quella della Siberia, terra d'origine del duo. Una dichiarazione d'amore per l'ambiente, tra ampi orizzonti, danze rituali, echi di jazz.

Evgeny Masloboev suona qualunque cosa gli capiti a tiro. Pianoforte, chitarra, tromba, percussioni, utensili da cucina, materiali da costruzione, e tesse le strutture sonore su cui si innesta la voce (o meglio le voci, vista la duttilità e l'ampio uso di sovraincisioni) della figlia Anastasia.

Un album delicato, rarefatto, in cui la musica assume una dimensione solenne e quasi sacrale, pur mantenendo grande leggerezza ed un forte legame con il concreto, con la natura.
