Dear friends,

If you have a strong interest in jazz with some free time, consider joining the All About Jazz team. It's an opportunity to establish your voice as part of our shared mission while taking advantage of some great networking opportunities to meet knowledgeable writers, editors, techies, musicians, industry pros, visual artists and active supporters of the music from around the globe.

Many of our staff members have been with us since 1995. They've supported the music and have been continually rewarded for their efforts as we've grown to become the most read and most influential jazz website in the world.

With reinvention and expansion at the forefront, we invite you to join us on our journey to support the music, spread the word, and have fun in the process.

Content Wanted

  • Live shows and festivals;
  • Interviews & Profiles;
  • Album, DVD, film, and book reviews;
  • Mine and validate data for both AAJ and Jazz Near You;
  • Upload photos, illustrations and paintings;
  • Archive papers, book excerpts and previously published material.

In Return...

We greatly appreciate our staff's efforts and we work with them to secure music and other promotional materials like books, access to film premieres and DVDs, press credentials to events, and secure paid writing assignments. Not to mention, you'll join an eclectic and talented team of writers and editors, and you'll gain access to the largest jazz readership on the planet. As writer/contributor Richard Salvucci put it, "My Doug Mettome article would have been read by 16 people at my blog. At AAJ, it was read over 4,000 times in two weeks!"

FOR THE LOVE OF JAZZ
Get the Jazz Near You newsletter Since 1995, shortly after the dawn of the internet, All About Jazz has been a champion of jazz, supporting it as an art form and, more importantly, supporting the musicians who create it. Our enduring commitment has made "AAJ" one of the most culturally important websites of its kind, read by hundreds of thousands of fans, musicians and industry figures every month.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
To expand our coverage even further and develop new means to foster jazz discovery and connectivity we need your help. You can become a sustaining member for a modest $20 and in return, we'll immediately hide those pesky ads plus provide access to future articles for a full year. This winning combination will vastly improve your AAJ experience and allow us to rigorously build on the pioneering work we first started in 1995. So enjoy an ad-free AAJ experience and help us remain a positive beacon for jazz by making a donation today.
