Sarah Buechi's Thali: Vidya Mani
In verità, però, detta fusione non appare così ben riuscita, al punto che in diversi brani si fatica a trovare traccia udibile dell'India e il clima jazzistico appare piuttosto banale. E anche dove il canto tipico indiano viene esplicitamente proposto dalla Buechi, come in "Harikamboji," il fatto che esso sia inserito in ritmi occidentali, vagamente swinganti, cancella quasi ogni interesse all'ibridazione.
Di tutto il lavoro, alla fine, emerge di buona qualità solo il contrabbassista Marco Mueller e qualche buon passaggio del pianoforte di Stefan Aeby. Un po' troppo poco.
