Marc Ducret: Tower, Vol. 1
In questo primo episodio sono al suo fianco quattro musicisti danesi che ben lo assecondano in questa escursione in territorio free che offre molteplici stratificazioni, spesso spostate verso la parte grave dello spettro acustico, anche per merito del trombone di Matthias Mahler e del sax basso di Fred Gastard. La sovrapposizione dei livelli è una caratteristica ben precisa di questo progetto e certamente gli spunti letterari di un racconto breve ma complesso, come quello dal quale si trae ispirazione, sono stati ben colti e sviluppati.
Come spesso succede, Marc Ducret non è particolarmente interessato a prendersi spazi solistici prevaricanti rispetto al contesto generale e preferisce occuparsi del prezioso lavoro di raccordo che gli consente comunque di mettersi bene in luce. I suoi compagni di viaggio sono molto convincenti e lo aiutano a raggiungere la meta, qualunque essa sia.
