RHinozeros: Time to Spoil
"Too Small" è tutto accordi secchi, essenziali, una voce melodiosa un po' retrò sospesa nel silenzio prima del fragore di un riff grunge che fa accapponare la pelle. "The Colour of Your Mind" conduce dalle parti dei Velvet Underground e, naturalmente, di Nico. "My Man's Gone Now" unico non originale del CD, trasmette una sobrietà quasi dolorosa, mentre "You Are So" rimanda al cabaret tedesco degli anni trenta con cantante e orchestrali in un palese stato di alterazione.
Non tutto suona perfettamente calibrato - alcune prolissità nello sviluppo dei brani, qualche calo di tensione - ma il disco ci presenta un duo dalle potenzialità tutte da scoprire che un produttore illuminato potrebbe far esplodere con assordante fragore.
