Per farlo, si accompagna a un suo fidatissimo coéquipier in seno a entrambi i gruppi citati, Fabio Biale, e al chitarrista scozzese Michael Bryant, ospitando in brani sparsi la flautista Nuala Kennedy (della cui band Bryan fa parte) e la specialista di concertina Caltlin Nic Gabhann, entrambe irlandesi, nonché l'arpista milanese Elena Spotti.
Episodi più incalzanti (i due che aprono il disco, per esempio) si alternano ad altri a briglia più allentata, utili a prendere fiato, in un'alternanza che attraversa di fatto tutto il lavoro, il cui rigore filologico, unito all'indubbia maestria tecnico-sintattica sfoggiata sul versante esecutivo, rappresenta l'elemento di maggior pregio.
