Cladio Lugo - Francesco D'Errico - Famoudoud Don Moye - Hartmut Geerken: The Gray Goose - dedicated to Hanns Eisler and Bertolt Brecht

Musiche di Hanns Eisler, cui viene associata la lettura/recitazione di testi di Bertold Brecht (naturalmente in tedesco), musicisti engagés, addirittura un ex Art Ensemble of Chicago come Don Moye. Intimorito da cotanta Cultura, con la C maiuscola ovviamente, al vostro povero cronista viene quasi voglia di liquidare il tutto con quattro stelle (che ormai non si negano e nessuno) e chiudere la pratica in tranquillità.

E però, consentiteci il passaggio dall'infinitamente alto all'infinitamente basso, qui c'è in agguato il temibile effetto cineforum di fantozziana memoria. O, se preferite, quel vago senso di inadeguatezza, ma anche di oppressione e (perchè negarlo?) di noia, che si prova quando si è messi di fronte a tanta inaccessibile seriosità. Sia perchè il CD ci sembra supporto poco idoneo a documentare un tipo di lavoro come questo, palesemente multimediale (passateci la parolaccia), sia perchè l'uso del tedesco riduce praticamente a zero la comprensibilità dell'opera. E qui si potrebbe discutere ampiamente su quanto sia poco eisleriana una scelta così élitaria. Ma lasciamo volentieri ad altri, culturalmente più attrezzati di noi, il compito di sviscerare la questione, poco adatta a questa sede e di cui, in fondo, ci interessa poco.

Quello che ci interessa rimarcare qui è che l'ascolto dell'album, a sprazzi interessante, è indubbiamente faticoso, soprattutto per chi non ha consuetudine con la lingua tedesca. Molto godibili invece le note di copertina, curate da un Roberto Masotti davvero ispirato.
